Howbill Farming

Howbill Farming had its origin in 1952 when Mr Howard Bertram Gibson bought the farm Parys, Koue Bokkeveld and started farming with apples.

His son, Raymond Gibson, took over the farm in 1990, and with with hard work, vision and tenacity, the current prosperous farming entity came into being. Howbill Farming is a diverse business producing mainly apples and pears, which is packed in its own packhouse on the farm and sold locally and internationally. Vegetables, wheat, sheep and cattle are also an integral part of the business as well as tourism through Kaleo Guest Farm
